As I reflect on 2014 in its last few days, I am filled to the brim with gratitude. Just when I think I couldn’t possibly find a new adventure to top the last one, something wonderful comes along and blesses me with new photos and experiences all over again.
Here’s a very quick photo tour of some of my biggest 2014 highlights. There were some rough times this year, to be sure, but you wouldn’t know it from my photo stream. Enjoy!

Most of my adventures take place away from home, but there were quite a few adventures at Angie Away basecamp, too.
Jacksonville, Florida
Speaking at the Generation W conference in AprilDowntown Jacksonville sunrise on the way to an early morning flightI moved!Baking for Valentine’s DayOrlando isn’t really basecamp, but I spent so much time there this year, it’s close enough! Here’s a shot of me with the family for RaeRae’s 21stMy bestie Lauren came to visit in October & we went to a casino night costume party… of course!I decorated and settled in to my new apartment – read about it here. I packed and unpacked and packed and unpacked and packed and unpacked. Only one more trip this year…I started the year in Jacksonville & I’ll end it here, too.
Just when I thought 2014’s adventures were finished, Carnival called… so I’m on a cruise in The Bahamas rounding out this year of wonderful experiences. I visited two new countries and four new states, returned to Greece, Turkey, Mexico and now The Bahamas for reprise visits and met some wonderful new friends along the way. I realized when looking through all my photos this year that being home part time and away part time really suits me… so I’m going to continue that pattern in 2015. More on that to come in my next Reflections from the Road post.
Thank you for reading & being a key part of my adventures. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without all your support, so thank you, merry Christmas, happy holidays and happy new year!
