Ain’t no party like a Scranton party cause a Scranton party don’t stop!
Last year, Angie and I took an epic Scranton road trip because even though The Office ended its run in 2013, we still think it’s the best show ever created. We tracked down every spot and reference we could in the Electric City, snapping cheesy photos in front of the famous sign at the “Steamtown Mall,” visiting a real local paper company and driving through around Lake Scranton while listening the the infamous theme song and quoting our favorite lines from the show.
Sure, we got a few weird looks in our ensembles, but most Scrantonites seemed to understand, and at least tolerate, the bizarre Florida girls running around the city yelling, “That’s what she said!”
Is The Office the best thing to ever happen to Scranton, Pennsylvania? I’d say so!
Our tour of The Office locations inspired us to continue celebrating our favorite show, but once we got home, we thought… now what? We’ve watched every episode of The Office on Netflix 100 times at least, we drove around Scranton dressed like Dwight Schrute, we even detoured to Niagara Falls like Jim and Pam… was there anything else left to do?
Then it hit us like Michael Scott hit Meredith with his car.
