Readers, set your DVRs! The Besties and I are headed to the Today Show first thing in the a.m. to celebrate what else – Australia Day! Since 1994, Australia Day has been an official public holiday celebrated with parades, concerts and ferry races. Like our July 4th, it’s a joyful and patriotic day full of fireworks, picnics and sunshine.
Since I’m not there in person to wish each Aussie a fabulous day, I’m going to do the next best thing — wish them a Happy Australia Day on the world’s most watched morning show! Did I mention it’s going to be 20 degrees and we’re arriving at the crack of dawn?* What more could you want from your Monday morning?
